"I do want to relate for the record my sincere gratitude that your company’s hustle demonstrated when our elevator temporarily broke on March 9th.

My husband brought me home from long day’s outing to the doctor’s office to get a splint taken off my leg, stitches removed, and a cast put on. I am pretty much one legged for awhile. When we got home, we found that our elevator had stopped several inches below the proper level and was now inoperable. At this point, it is good to know that we live in a hurricane zone and the first floor to our home is 23 feet above the ground level. We chose a residential elevator instead of a outdoor lift when we rebuilt and are so glad that we did.

I did make it into the house in a very unladylike manner which is fuel for laughter now.

I called Residential Elevators Customer Service and told her my plight. She needed to see where everyone was and would call me back. Now Tallahassee is a long way from Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi so I was hoping for a next day response. She called back asking if 7:00 p.m. today would be OK. Great! It was already 2:30 at that time. But, they got there at 3:30. The REI Houston Service Techs just happened to be in the next town. Wow! They inspected it and fixed it and left one very happy customer.
