WE ONLY SERVICE PRODUCTS MANUFACTURED AND PURCHASED THROUGH RESIDENTIAL ELEVATORS.

Please refer to the following items that can assist you in resolving many elevator issues.

My elevator does not move or come when called:
  • Is the stop/run switch in the Run position?
    1. Push the Hall Station (Call Button on home side of elevator). The number of blinks that is returned to the Call Button determines the floor the elevator is located (EG: 2 Blinks = 2nd Floor)
    2. Go to the Floor determined from the above step and press the call button
    3. Press the Call button at that floor and the elevator door should unlock to allow entry
    4. Enter the Elevator Car and Verify the Run Stop is in the Run Position
    5. Once the Run/Stop switch has been placed back into the Run position your elevator will function normally
  • Do you have a keyed Hall Station (Outside the Elevator) anywhere?
    1. Locate the Keyed Hall Station(s)
    2. Verify the Hall Station is not in the locked position
      • It is locked if the key is straight up and down.
  • Do you have a keyed Car Operating Panel (Inside the Elevator)?
    1. Verify the Car Operating Panel is not in the locked position
      • It is locked if the key is straight up and down.
  • Is the elevator getting power?
    1. Locate and open the House Breaker Panel Door
    2. Locate the two circuits labeled Elevator (Will be a 240 and a 120 Circuit)
    3. Verify the two Elevator circuits are not Tripped and both are in the ON position
I have Blinking Lights What do I do?
    1. All buttons are blinking:
      1. Be sure the stop/run switch is in the Run position.
      2. Close the elevator up, making sure all doors and the gate are closed and secure.
      3. Locate the breaker panel which controls the entire home.
      4. Switch off anything labeled ‘Elevator’ or ‘Elevator Light’ for 2 minutes to power the elevator all the way down and then flip back on. (There are likely just a 240 and a 120 dedicated to the elevator)
        • Florida jobs, after 2017 will have a Master Rest Key which needs to be turned – this switch is located near the elevator equipment.
      5. Go to a floor and try to call the elevator.
    1. One button is blinking:
      1. Either The door on that floor is not secure or the elevator was called from another floor and not used
        1. Verify the Door is fully closed and making good contact
        2. The Call Buttons number of blinks represents the floor the elevator is located on
          • Count the blinks and go to the floor = number of blinks
          • Press the Hall Station on that floor and the elevator door will allow entry
        3. Validate the Elevator Care Gate is in the Fully Closed position
How to Reset Your Elevator:
My Elevator is not even with a floor:
    1. Open and shut the gate. The elevator gate/accordion door may have come ajar and caused the elevator to stop in travel.
    2. Secure all doors and the gate and perform a reset… the elevator should ‘find itself.’
My Cab lights are not working:
    1. Verify the light switch inside the elevator in the ‘On’ position
    2. Check the 120 breaker (Labeled Elevator or Elevator Light) in the home’s breaker box and verify it is not tripped
Alarms:
    1. Flip the breaker off and wait for the battery backup to run down (about a half hour to an hour). If the elevator is turned back on and the alarm starts again – must schedule for Service.
    2. Battery backup (UPS) is beeping/chirping (Outside of the elevator in the Machine Room)
      • The UPS can be turned off with the power button and left off until it runs down and stops beeping.
      • Make sure to Schedule Service to replace the battery as this is a safety item
    3. Door alarm is going off (Inside the Elevator Cab)
      • Shut the door and reset the elevator (See “How to Reset Your Elevator” above)
      • If the alarm does not stop after resetting your elevator Power your Elevator Off by flipping the 240 and 120 breakers in the main breaker panel to the OFF position.
      • Do not allow anyone to use or go near the elevator.
      • Schedule a Service visit for resolution.
    4. If any alarm is going off constantly after performing the above steps you will need to contact us for a service visit
